I give you the Veggie Assassin!!! My rendition of a Japanese Style Veggie Cleaver!  This thing is sooooo cool. 3" tall and 6.25" of cutting edge.  Handmade from AEBL stainless steel with our Legendary in House heat treat!  This thing is a beast.  Will take and hold a sharp edge as well as has some impressive corrosion resistance... All qualities given by our heat treat. This isn't plain old AEBL.... This is Pirate Forge AEBL!!!! The blade features a a thin under .125" conveyed spine with free hand flat ground bevel to an extremely fine edge.  Again... I must emphasize this cleaver is only for vegetables. The geometry is not meant for any kind of hard cleaver use.  Its like a huge exacto knife... It will excel and cut vegetables like a laser. Exactly what a Japanese Veggie Cleaver is designed to do.  Furthermore, the blade features the skull and bones "Grail Mark', satin finished bevels, and polished spine and Ricasso.  The handle is a hidden tang design.  It features vintage micarta with visible black oxidation lines, OD green spacers, Stabilized Orange Birch wood, and stabilized Spalted Maple.  I free hand ground it with octagonal faceting. Not only is it comfortable and balanced the faceting really shows off the different handle materials.  A functional, heirloom quality, work of art!  Listing is for blade only... A Sheath can be made upon request at an additional charge, however, I wouldn't keep this in a sheath.  It would be proudly displayed on a magnetic wooden knife block and used daily!  Guaranteed to put a smile on your face with use!
