I give you the "Whiskey Pirate" edition Goat Roper EDC!  This is a cool blade with a cool name.. Coming in at 7.875" overall with a 3.250" edge length. It's got a full hand grip handle with a nice integral guard leading to a respectable sized blade. And did I mention this thing is a total looker! A slight sloping profile, tasteful choil, just a little bit of flat in front of the handle before some crisp free hand ground plunge lines and did ya see that comfort curve in the handle???? This blade just melts into your hand. I guess we should also talk about the performance.... Paired with the Pirate Forge in house tight grained heat treat we do to our 80crv2 high carbon steel, This blade is not only tough but will take and hold a ridiculously sharp edge. The Whiskey Pirate Goat roper features free hand flat ground primary bevels, engraved skull and bones touch mark/branding, Dark Stonewashed finish, integral guard, aggressive spine jimping, and a razor sharp polished edge.  The Rugged Whiskey Pirate Goat Roper comes with detailed hand fieldwork around the entire perimeter of the blade. Handle is made from upcycled Whiskey barrel oak wood. We Broke down the old Whiskey barrel right here in the shop then I stored the pieces in my hot dry barn for over a year. The pieces were then cut down to correct scale thickness and kiln dried for an additional 3 days. Its pretty awesome because I can still smell the Whiskey on the wood as im working with the wood. After the handles are shaped and handsanded they go through a process to give the wood nice texture and that timeless old aged look. We seal the wood putting a protective coat of Pirate Forge Booty Wax finish over the entire piece. As far as care for this blade I recommend using the blade wax we make right here at the forge! Applying this wax will protect your investment. It will help prevent rust as well as protect that wood handle. This is a true Pirate Style blade that begs to be used. The wear only adds to the look and mystique. This blade comes with a made in house custom leather pocket sheath shown in listing. Heavy veg tanned leather, black stitching, rustic antique finish, skull and bones/Pirate Forge engraving, and a discreet carry customs clip. Sheath is ambidextrous. The screws can be removed and placed back in whatever position you desire.
