The Pirate Forge "JackDaw". Yet Another unique Ring Knife design from the forge!   Hand forged from 80crv2 high carbon steel and given an epic in house heat treat. Just like all our blades.. Our heat treat doesnt play...  The JackDaw  has a slim 3.5" blade with aggressive spine jimping.  It also features free hand ground  flat bevels, hammer forged texture left on the flats, skull and bones "Grail" mark, Pirate Forge branding on opposite side, dark stonewash finish, and a razor sharp mirror polished edge.  The handle on this JackDaw is just nuts!  I features 18 piece in house made combo scales.  I tend to go a littler overboard on such things because I like overboard... Normal is just boring.. so yeah there's my spill on that.. Let's get into this kick ass handle.  It features Vintage Westing house LE micarta liners and bolsters, black G10 liners, Stabilized blue Maple wood, varied length copper shims, Real Wooly Mammoth bone spacer (between copper shims), stabilized Black Ash burl wood, and Stabilized green Basswood. The scales are permanently fixed in place with hollow copper pins and GFLEX marine grade epoxy.  The end ring hoop has been inlayed with forged copper ring!  It is a comfortable forward of reverse grip with either your index of pinky finger inside the integral Ring.   This blade comes with custom made leather pocket sheath shown in listing photos.  Sheath features heavy veg tanned leather, black stitching, rustic antiqued finish, Indian skull engraving, and Pirate Forge Branding.  Sheath comes with discreet carry pocket clip.  Clip can be moved from side to side making pocket sheath Ambidextrous.
