Even with all of my years of girthy experience this blade was no simple feat to beat and whack into shape.  Hand forged from 80crv2 high carbon steel and given a top notch in house heat treat.   This blade not only looks good.. it will perform.  The 5/16"thick spine and weight make this like an indestructible hand axe!  It features free hand ground flat bevels, forged texture left on the flats, big/deep Skull and Bones Grail Mark Engraving, Pirate Forge Engraving, integral guard, integral rear lanyard through hole, and a razor sharp edge.  Handle is "Wood by Mohler" Custom made 16 piece combo scale featuring Black Richlite, OD green Micarta, G10 liners/spacers, and solid black G10 pins.  Blade comes with custom Pirate Forge Copper tube lanyard and Leather Sheath.  Nice and Tight Leather Sheath to securely hold all of your new Girthy blade! Sheath features heavy veg tanned leather, black stitching, hand forged copper rivets, detailed engravings, solid steel ring shackle/dangler, detachable reinforced leather snap strap, and a unique hand stained finish.
