I give you the "Desperado!"  A big ass camp chopper!!!!  When designing it I wanted something with heft and beef.... This thing has it!  A blade you can BATON with... I know everyone loves that lol... but in all seriousness this is the blade... Whether a collector or outdoors enthuisiast this thing will be a welcomed addition to your arsenal.  This first ever Desperado was handmade from 80crv2 High carbon steel with that impressive Pirate Forge in house heat treat.  AS shown in the videos on social media this thing is sharp, tough, and holds that edge.  The blade features a 1/4" thick spine, flat ground bevels, aggressive jimping, deep engraved skull and bones grail mark, pirate forge branding, and a stonewashed finish.  The handle is made in house Combo Scales with Vintage WEstinghouse LE Micarta, black G10, green Birch, and poison blackwood a fitted up with polished stainless corby bolts.  These scales are removable.  Its nice because you have the option for another set of scales down the road or for deep cleaning or even reapplication of patina or finish... Just like I did after the extensive cut testing I did with it.  Yes the stonewash finish just like other finishes will wear over time with heavy use.  After the testing videos I removed the scales and re did the stonewash.  The pictures in the listing are after all the chopping and cutting.  Just shows the advantage of removable scales!  This beast of a blade comes with a custom hybrid kydex sheath also made in house by me.  Sheath features heavy black kydex, heavy veg tan leather, black rivets, black hardware, custom lanyard bead, and gator embossed belt loop.   Sheath is set up for
