Holy Cow!!!!! It's the "Buried Cleaver"..... over 3 POUNDS of Pirate Steel!!! Shiver Me Timbers... Why make such a beast??? more like Why NOT make such a beast!!! So yeah I did it... This thing is ridiculous. 6" tall, 9.5"cutting edge, 1/4" thick spine, and did I mention it weighs 3lbs 3 ounces....Scare your buddies, chop up some Meat and Potatoes, or cut down a pine tree... The choice is yours and yours alone.... Manmade (thats more labor intensive than handmade) from 80crv2 High Carbon steel. This thing has a top notch in house heat treat so its more than just looks... its gonna perform. It features flat ground primary bevels, huge over 1.25" diameter eye hole, deep engraved huge skull and bones grail mark, pirate forge branding, a super unique finish, and razor sharp polished edge.  Now back to what makes this blade so special!  It was buried underground for 5 months !  While taking a dirt nap the cleaver developed some gorgeous texture and patina.  There's something really special about the blades that come back from the blade cemetery... that's for sure.  After digging up the blade I then cleaned it off then handled it with real Whiskey Barrel Oak wood and hollow copper pins with a slight recessed tang. Just really compliments the overall look.  This Cleaver comes with attached "Tang Danger" Brand dangler shown in listing. Also included is a custom made leather sheath. Pretty sure I used about half a cow hide making it!!!!!hahahahaha..... Sheath features heavy veg tanned leather, black stitching, hammer forged copper rivets, humongous skull Indian engraving on the front/Pirate Forge on back, leather snap strap, and a custom hand painted/stained finish.  Such an incredible piece.
