The Woodsman is an Epic EDC Carry!!!  Now even cooler with the Swamp Pirate Edition!! This blade is about as big as you can get and still every day carry in your pocket. Handmade from AEBL stainless steel with an in house heat treat that outperforms all the others… This Swamp Pirate edition Woodsman features a 5" blade with primary flat gound bevels, Grail Mark, a nice distal taper, stonewashed finish,  hand ground jimping,  stonewashed perimeters,  and a razor sharp mirror polished edge.. The handle features highly figured Stabilized Green spalted maple wood with a wood in our "Relic" style recessed fit,  impregnated stabilized jute wrap, and copper pins/rear lanyard pin.  Such an epic handle and feels great in hand as well(all edges of that slight exposed tang have been rounded). This blade is an absolute joy to carry and use. Great for anything from opening boxes, skinning deer, cleaning ducks, carving wood, cutting rope, chopping limbs, skinning wires in home depot to see if they will fit in a breaker, scraping paint off your boat trailer to make a good ground wire connection for your tailer lights (ok maybe you shouldnt scrap a boat trailer with it but I did), or slicing up porkchops at sunday dinner. SEriously I use this style blade all day everyday for soo many things. I carried my person Woodsman for months without sharping it.. only stropped... still razor sharp! Which brings me to one of the most important aspects of this blade.. The HEAT TREAT..... you guys hear me go on and on about heat treat and thats because it makes a difference... and the way we heat treat blades here at Pirate Forge makes for a blade with unmatched performance. Toughness, sharpness, and edge retention.  Also I should make note that The 4 woodsman blades on this current drop were made with Pocket Carry EDC in mind.  They are lightweight with fine geometry and are meant for cutting and slicing.. The geometry is not designed for batoning or using the blade as a pry bar.....The handle is also a slim profile making it fantastic for pocket carry.  Our blades are already known for sleek precision....We dont make Donkey Dong handles like so many other makers.  But these pocket carry blades are just a little thinner than usual. Again all aspects made with purposeful intent.  This blade comes with custom "Tang Danglers" brand dangler shown in listing.  Also, includes custom made leather pocket sheath also shown in listing.  Sheath features heavy duty leather, black stitching, skull and bones engraving, hand painted/stained antique finish, and a discreet carry clip that can be mounted for ambidextrous carry.
