Handmade from AEBL Stainless steel with a highly specialized heat treat only found here at Pirate Forge. This Fillet Knife will take and hold a razor sharp edge. Flat ground primary bevels with top and bottom plunge lines into handle tang.  The combination of the distal taper along with the thick handle tang makes for a nice balance and feel in hand.  The entire blade/tang has been given a stonewash finish.  Laser engraved skull and bones touchmark as well as Pirate Forge branding on opposite side..  AEBL  stainless is resistance to rust and has excellent toughness making it a great choice for a Fillet Knife.   The handle features high quality stablized wood with hollow copper pins and West Systems marine grade epoxy in the "RELIC" style recessed fit up. This  blade comes the custom made leather sheath shown in pictures.  Sheath is also made here in house at the Pirate Forge.  Right Handed belt loop Sheath features heavy veg tanned leather, ornate hand tooling, black stitching, hammered copper rivets, hand painted and stained antiqued finish,  and laser engraved skull and swords compass on front/ Pirate Forge branding on back.  The Sheath has also been wet molded to the sheath. ( a two day process to mold then dry) This wet mold fit makes for a fantastic carry!
