Handmade from AEBL stainless steel with an in house heat treat that outperforms all the others… This Woodsman features a 5" blade with primary flat gound bevels, grippy spine jimping, Grail Mark, a nice distal taper, satin finish, and will come with a razor sharp mirror polished edge.. The handle features Real Vintage WEstinghouse "LE" Micarta sourced from the Avondale Shipyard in Louisianna.  Real Vintage WEstinghouse Micarta is a very limited material.  It was made neartly 100 years ago and once its all gone its gone.  That is why when you find it is very expensive stuff.  It is an extremely durable handle material.  The "LE" Micarta was designed by Westinghouse for Marine use! So you know its great on a blade.   It has some really nice curve apeal as well as feel in hand. The handle makes for a full secure hand grip. This blade is an absolute joy to carry and use. Great for anything from opening boxes, skinning deer, cleaning ducks, carving wood, cutting rope, chopping limbs, skinning wires in home depot with your dad to see if they will fit in a breaker, scraping paint off your boat trailer to make a good ground wire connection for your tailer lights (ok maybe you shouldnt scrap a boat trailer with it but I did), or slicing up porkchops at sunday dinner. SEriously I use style blade all day everyday for soo many things. Ive been carrying mine for around 2 months and havnt even had to sharpen it.. only stropped... still razor sharp! Which brings me to one of the most important aspects of this blade.. The HEAT TREAT..... you guys hear me go on and on about heat treat and thats because it makes a difference... and the way we heat treat blades here at Pirate Forge makes for a blade with unmatched performance. Toughness, sharpness, and edge retention.....
