Pirate Forge Santoku Handmade from AEBL Stainless steel with a highly specialized heat treat only found here at Pirate Forge means this piece will take and hold a razor sharp edge.  Laser engraved skull and bones touchmark as well as Pirate Forge branding on opposite side..  AEBL  stainless is resistance to rust and has excellent toughness making it one of the best choices for a chef knife.  Flat ground primary bevels and a nice distal taper.  Blade features a clean satin finish and polished rock textured spine.  The blade is a hidden tang construction with Westinghouse "LE" Micarta bolster, black g10 liner, and Rosewood handle.  Blade is well balanced and comfortable in hand.  Listing is for blade only.  These blades look really nice on magnetic knife blocks that dont cost much but look and work nice.
