Hand Forged from 387 Layers of 1084, Procut, and 15n20 high carbon steel.  Pro Cut is a new high performance steel formulated just for blades.  It is pretty rare to find Damascus made from it!  This is one fierce Piece of Pirate Forge Steel!!!  With a top notch in house tight grained heat treat it has the performance Pirate Forge is known for.  The blade features a compressed random web/wave pattern with a bright 3000 grit hand sanded finish on the highs, Deep engraved skull and bones Grail Mark, forged flats, free hand hollow ground bevels, deep fullers, mirror polished perimeters, integral lanyard loop, and a razor sharp mirror polished edge. The handle is highly figured stabilized purple Mango Wood,  Westinghouse "LE" Micarta liners (sourced from the avondale shipyard), and 2 solid brass pins/one large hollow brass pin in center.  Blade comes with Leather sheath Shown in Listing. Sheath is heavy duty leather with hand forged copper rivets, backstitching, skull and bones grail mark engraving, Pirate Forge Branding, removable belt loop snap strap, and a dark brown vintage hand stained/painted finish.
