Totally the Swamp Parrots idea.  There is a Wild Owl that lives in the woods near the creek. I see him nearly every day. His name is Quill.  Anyways he gave me the cool idea for this dagger.   Forged from 80CRV2 high carbon steel with the Pirate Forge in house tight grained heat treat. This blade is not only tough but will take and hold a ridiculously sharp edge.  This is a "Grail" edition piece meaning that it is designated as taking even more work and care in the piece and features the Skull and bone "Grail Mark".   The blade  features free hand ground micro hollow bevels, engraved skull and bones "Grail" touch mark/branding, Dark Stonewashed finish, forged flats, and a razor sharp polished edge.  Now where the extra Parrot ideas kick in... The dagger features a large ricasso through hole, large forged integral lanyard loop, hand stitched x pattern black waxed thread that goes through both there Whiskey Barrel Oak wood scales and the steel tang (Ive never seen such a thing), and hand wrapped black waxed thread on the riccasso through hole/pommel lanyard loop.   Dagger will come with custom parachord lanyard/engraved copper Pirate Forge tube (shown in listing).  Also included is a  custom made Leather pocket/boot sheath (shown in listing).  Sheath is heavy vegetable tanned leather that features heavy Reptile engravings,  black stitching, skull and bones engraving, custom stain job, and a discreet carry concepts pocket clip! Can be set up for ambidextrous carry.
