The Newest Coin from Pirate Forge!! I give you the Skull Coin! This one is a totally different piece! Offered in "Antique Finish" for $50 and "Polished Finish" for $75....I wanted to create something with more emphasis on geometric shapes, contours, and relief.  This is That result! A Rustic skull coming out of a concaved void encompased by two outer rings.  The back features the bold Pirate Forge Branding.  I forge these coins along with the help of my Dad.  In fact all coins we now sale on the page are a combined effort of both of us.  These coins have got him back out of retirement!!!  LOL.... These are handmade from solid pieces of C110 copper ( the highest grade money can buy). We cut the rounds from rod stock then they go through multiple rounds of annealing, hand brush cleanup, and forging on our 60 ton H frame MEGA PRESS.... after we have all those details looking good I take them to the grinder to refine the rim. They are then darkened and stonewashed to give you the "antique finish" coins.  I then take those and spend more time on the grinder and buffer to make the rim nice and polished. I then micro polish the details on the front and back. These coins are our "polished finish" version. These coins are my favorite yet! Nice weight and shape and something truly unique. You can tell these are handmade heirloom quality pieces and not some pressed Chinese pot metal $hit.
