Hand forged from a piece of 80CRV2 high carbon Steel!  This thing has attitude as well as beauty.  In house top notch Pirate Forge Heat treat means this blade will take and hold a razor sharp edge. This Battle Tanto features hand forged texture left on the top of the spine as well as the flats.  It has Fullers transitioning to flat ground primary bevels with a satin finish.  Deeply engraved grail mark with Pirate Forge branding on opposite ricasso.  Handmade forged fit, engraved brass guard.  The handle is textured stabilized toasted Maple wood that has been slightly recessed from the tang perimeter (making the forged texture visible on the handle!). The handle also features recessed hollow brass pins.  This piece comes with a custom made leather sheath shown in listing.  Sheath features heavy veg tanned leather, black stitching, hammered copper rivets, skull and bones touchmark engraving, Pirate Forge Brandind on back, Leather back plate, leather belt loop (designed for Right Hand cross draw /carry on left side hip), leather retention snap strap, and a unique hand painted/stained finish.
