Handmade from AEBL Stainless steel with a highly specialized heat treat found only here at Pirate Forge.  This Fillet Knife will  take and hold a razor sharp edge. .  Laser engraved skull and bones touchmark as well as Pirate Forge branding on opposite side..  Our AEBL  stainless is more resistance to rust than other high carbon steel blades and has excellent toughness making it a great choice for a Fillet Knife.   The blade is flat ground with satin finish.  It has a low flex.  Great for tackling any fish and also making it great as a breaking/boning knife for other wild game.  Here at the shop me and Brandon acually prefer these low flex models.  Even for small freshwater or soft fish.  Its all about learning your blade. The handle is reclaimed Oak wood with a dark weathered finish and hollow copper pins.  The Oak wood handle not only looks great it feels wonderful in hand.   These also make great culinary blades to be used in the kitchen, at the bbq,  or the campsite!   This  blade comes with black kydex sheath.  See listing photos for Example of sheath.
