"KeelHaul" Double Integral

Forged from a large roller bearing, this is one fantastic piece of functional art!  The blade features a double integral constuction.  Meaning the guard/bolster and pommel of the blade are forged from the same piece of steel as the blade....One solid piece of awesome metal!  Bearing steel is a chromium alloy carbon steel very popular in high end chef knives.  With the right heat treat it makes excellent blades, even non culinary.  The blade features free hand ground wide hollow grinds, forged texture flats, mirror polished bevels, walnut wood, and hollow copper pins.  This is once incredible piece!  This blade comes with one of my handmade leather sheaths. Scroll through the pics to see!  Fold over construction heavy veg tan leather with a 3/4" weld seam!!! The sheath features hammer peened copper pins, double lined hand stitching, steel spikes, hand tooling, and a fold over vertical carry belt loop.
