I present to you the Head Hunter!!!!! Forged from 80crv2 Carbon Spring Steel with my perfected heat treat! Words cannot begin to describe just how badass this blade is. From the sheer size to all the details, this is one highly functional piece of heirloom quality art! The blade features a forged finish, mirror polished primary flat grinds, figured Bocote wood handle with 11, yes 11 copper pins! 7 of which are hollow hammer peened and 4 are solid copper pins that have been hammered making a very decorative old world look as well as providing added strength! Everying on this blade is designed for generations of use and function. But I must warn you this is no ordinary machete and is not meant for any ordinary person!!! Its over 2 foot long and weighs nearly 4 pounds! The handle is designed as a "hand and a half" grip! But no worries, as long as you are a caveman gorilla like me you will be able to swing one handed or double up for some serious power!!! This piece comes with one of my custom made scabbards! 3 piece poplar wood constuction. The scabbard sports real python snake skin, skull embossed goat skin, tooled leather, hand forged shackles, wood carvings, and hemp wrap. The two shackles provide many options for carry and display. I will provide a leather hoop/snap for belt carry. The Scabbard was designed so that the balance point of the first shackle is perfect for belt/side carry. Make sure to scroll through all of the above pics and contact me personally via contact info on page for any questions about this piece.
