Hand forged from a piece of 80crv2 high carbon steel.  This is a grail worthy culinary blade. It features a 9.75"razor sharp cutting edge.  This blade will work great as a slicer, heavy duty fillet, or just a versalite kitchen knife.   The top notch in house heat treatment has given this blade tight grained edge retaining capability. The blade features flat ground primary bevels, a nice full length distal taper, satin finish, skull and bones "Grail Mark", Pirate Forge engraving on opposite side, with forged texture left on the flats.  The handle is highly figured, stablized Spalted Pecan wood with hollow copper pins in my "Relic" style recessed handle fit up. This blade comes with a custom made leather carry sheath. The Sheath features heavy veg tanned leather, black stitching, hand tooling, hammer forge copper rivets, leather retention snap strap, and a hand painted/antiqued stain job.
